Be Bizarre

Everybody wants to be different! What better way to stand out from the crowd than to sport some strikingly unconventional yet amazingly cool apparel and accessories? You don't have to ape Lady Gaga to be hip! We here will try and deconstruct the bizarre fashion trends of 2012 and give you tips on how to show them off with finesse. Read on to know more...

Unconventional Heels

Some scyscraper heels in the most unseen shapes and designs- that is what we are talking about here. Think animal prints, large chunky geometric prints and funky textures like wire-wound, bling, raised embroidery and so on and so forth. Wear stilettos, wedges, pumps, peep-toes, etc. Dare to experiment!

Mane Point

Now you don't have to go to such extremes to get your hat fashion right. You can just buy a plain hat and throw on a few cute embellishments like embroidery, bits of cloth, lace, thread and anything else that makes it pretty. Be the first to sport some fun hat fashion!

Fur coats are in. Keep in mind to get only imitation fur though.Couple them with bold print tunics and dresses and people won't be able to take their eyes off you! You can also pair dresses with coats for that relaxed yet glam look. These style ideas are best for parties and high-attendance social dos. Go get em girls! :)

Wide-lapel coats and flared pants, hippie dresses with a lot of lace, long overcoats - all of these make for some fine 'be-different' fashion. Flaunt these with boots and you will be the cynosure of all eyes. Mix and match. Be your own person!

Inspired By the Movies

Well, we think that Amrita Rao's look in 'Main Hoon Na' deserves special mention in this section. A college-goer's dream, this look consists of high-rise fitted T-shirts or tops with a broken down and washed feel, suede belts and shoes, a hippie hat and washed skinnies. Go all out with the rocker lass make-up and tiny braids and you are all set. Be the trend-setter!
